Oh my Goooddddd, nothing feels as amazing as climbing into bed after a long ass day.
I swear, my bed is my soulmate that I look forward to coming home to every day.
For many of us, our bed is somewhere to unwind from the day. Whether it just be relaxing, or fun 😉, it takes a lot of stress from the day away. For others, it's a place where they lay awake at night with their worries (hello, anxiety!).
How can you make your bed more relaxing?
- Light a candle on your nightstand (be sure not to fall asleep with it lit!)
- Throw your pillowcase in the wash when you do your laundry. Nothing better than a fresh pillowcase!
- De-clutter your room. Sometimes having so much stuff around us increases stress
- Get a soft blanket. Your skin will feel nice, and you'll focus on your physical comforts and sensory experience
- Keep your phone in another room. Our devices cause more anxiety than we realize
